Natalie:

Go with momentum.

2

:

Sometimes you're faced between two

different options or two different

3

:

choices and maybe you're trying to make

an opportunity work or you're trying to

4

:

pursue a new path or you're trying to see

what would be the right choice for you.

5

:

And sometimes, the paths they're

conflicting but you think both can

6

:

work, you're not really sure which one.

7

:

So you have to kind of try both.

8

:

But as soon as you get momentum in one,

9

:

And sometimes the momentum takes

a while to build and that can be

10

:

the frustrating part and sometimes

you have to be waiting for a while.

11

:

But for me, I just recently

had an opportunity.

12

:

I was trying to pursue a specific

opportunity for my business and

13

:

I tried three different paths.

14

:

The first path, instant momentum.

15

:

It just worked.

16

:

And then things kind of

died down for a while.

17

:

And I said, you know, I want to expand.

18

:

I want to get other

opportunities outside this area.

19

:

So I started to pursue a second area, but

as much as I would talk to people about

20

:

my ideas, I had calls, I had emails.

21

:

I sent wonderful proposals,

got a lot of good feedback, but

22

:

then it never went anywhere.

23

:

There was zero momentum.

24

:

Or I got shut down and I was told no

we're not going to go in this direction,

25

:

but thank you so much And everybody

saw the value in what I was proposing

26

:

But nobody in that second group wanted

to take it further and then I got an

27

:

opportunity To go a third route So I

was still working on the second route,

28

:

but an opportunity kind of naturally

presented itself for the third route

29

:

I didn't actually go looking for it.

30

:

It kind of came to me You And since

I've opened my mind and my eyes

31

:

to the possibilities of that third

area being a potential, momentum has

32

:

started building in that area too.

33

:

So what does this mean?

34

:

I'm now going to let go of that

second area altogether because

35

:

even though I would love to

expand my business in that area.

36

:

there's not a fit.

37

:

Maybe it's not a fit ever.

38

:

Maybe there's not a fit right now.

39

:

Maybe I haven't met the right people,

but for now there's no momentum.

40

:

So instead of me continuing to waste

effort and energy on something that has

41

:

yet to produce fruit, let me go with area

one and area three that are currently

42

:

producing fruit and are building momentum.

43

:

And so if you're in a stage of

life where, you know, you're just

44

:

feeling like you're stuck and you're

not really making a breakthrough.

45

:

Try to go back and identify, well,

what area were people showing interest?

46

:

Or where was I making a

little bit of progress?

47

:

And see what can be done on your end

to increase and boost that momentum.

48

:

And sometimes I'll say too,

sometimes you can't do anything.

49

:

Sometimes you just have to

sit and give it some time.

50

:

But you might be doing

things in the background.

51

:

You might be making

connections with people.

52

:

You might be improving things.

53

:

And then over time, the momentum

just comes out of nowhere.

54

:

I think I am wildly shocked at the leaps

and bounds my business has made in the

55

:

last two months after work I've put in

for the last two years that was always

56

:

building but now it just skyrocketed and

I'm like oh my goodness can I keep up

57

:

and that's an exciting problem to have

in an exciting area to be in especially

58

:

if you felt stuck like if you if

anybody's listening and they felt stuck

59

:

and they weren't going the right way.

60

:

I know what that feels like.

61

:

So, that's my That's my tip for today

is just go with momentum honestly This

62

:

supports your mental health and well

being so much because when you keep

63

:

meeting barrier after barrier and block

after block Sometimes it ruins your

64

:

creativity and it's hard to keep pursuing

new opportunities But when you find

65

:

momentum, you naturally get excited.

66

:

You get excited when someone books with

you or someone wants to work with you

67

:

or someone wants to partner with you.

68

:

And that excitement leads to

collaborative opportunities.

69

:

It leads to more creativity.

70

:

It hopefully leads to more

money, more connections.

71

:

So everything can really

grow and expand from there.

72

:

Until next time, continue to serve

yourself, your loved ones, and

73

:

your communities from a full cup.
